How they met - "a happening": So how is it that 2 very active musicians from Chicago, playing in the same town for years, have to finally meet each other by pure chance a thousand miles away in Denver? Here’s how it happened: Jeff, a.k.a. Hyper Harp, was in Denver for a harmonica convention (of all things). On the last night of the event, Jeff happened to dine at a particular restaurant and happened to sit a table away from the lead singer of Sonia Dada, Paris Delane, who happened to be in town for a concert the next day. The waitress common to the two of them happened to mention Paris’s presence and the rest was history: Jeff was greeted with the warmest reception from Paris- like he knew Jeff for years. The real kicker was Paris’s kind invitation to have Jeff join him on stage the very next day to play the Benefit concert for a local Hospital, a charity that Paris often offers his support. With the Counting Crows and Freddy Jones Band on the bill, it was a wonderful way to start the incredible journey ahead. This first impromptu gig was just the beginning of something big to come as their energy and chemistry of the live performance shown brilliantly. Things do happen for a reason :)
